On May 13, the Kick-off Meeting for the Preparation of the Management Plans for the Sava River Basin will take place in Zagreb.

The activity is being implemented within the framework of the Sava and Drina Rivers Corridors Integrated Development Program (SDIP), supported by the World Bank and Global Environmental Facility, and aims to support the development of updated and new basin-wide planning documents, namely the third Sava River Basin Management Plan, the second Flood Risk Management Plan, and the first Sediment Management Plan, contributing to strengthened transboundary cooperation and sustainable water management in the Sava River Basin.

The meeting will take place in the Dubrovnik Hotel in Zagreb on 13 May, between 9:00h and 14:00h, and will be organized in a hybrid format, allowing participation both in person and online. It will provide an opportunity to present the objectives, scope, and planned activities of the project, as well as to initiate dialogue among experts from the basin countries , and to gather your valuable input at an early stage of the process. The detailed agenda will be shared in the coming days.
